Privacy Policy — JobClock Time Mobile

This Privacy Policy explains how JobClock Time Mobile ("the app") handles information. The app is published by Hughes Dirt Work LLC ("we," "us"). We've kept this policy short and direct because, for most users, there's not much to disclose: the app stores your data on your device, and we do not run a server that collects or stores user data.

1. What the app does

JobClock Time Mobile is a time-tracking app for individuals and small businesses. It lets you create clients and projects, set hourly rates, run a timer to log billable hours, view a history of your work, and generate reports. It is designed to work entirely on your device.

2. Information stored on your device

When you use the app, the following information is created and stored locally on your device:

• Your name or operator name (if you choose to enter one)
• Client and project names you create
• Hourly rates and notes you enter
• Time entries (start/end times, dates, durations)
• App settings and preferences

This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to Hughes Dirt Work LLC or to any server we control.

3. Email reports

The app includes a feature to email a formatted report of your time entries. When you use this feature, the app opens the iOS Mail composer with a subject and body pre-filled. You choose the recipient and decide whether to send. The data is handled by Apple's Mail app and your configured email provider — not by us.

4. Backup to Files

The app lets you save a backup file of your data to the iOS Files app, where you can store it in iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or any other location the Files app supports. Restoring from a backup reads such a file and replaces the app's current data. Once a backup file is saved outside the app, its security and storage are your responsibility.

5. Lock Screen Live Activity

When a timer is running, the app shows a Live Activity on your lock screen with the client name, project name, and elapsed time. This information is displayed by iOS on your device only. It is not transmitted off your device.

6. Information we do not collect

To be explicit about what we don't do:

• We do not operate a backend server that receives your data
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not use advertising networks
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties
• We do not connect to Google, iCloud sync, or any other cloud account from within the app
• We do not access your data without you initiating an action in the app

7. Children's privacy

JobClock Time Mobile is intended for use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please note that no data is transmitted to us — but you can clear all data by deleting the app from the device.

8. How to delete your data

Because all data lives on your device, you control it:

• To clear all data from inside the app, use "Reset all data" in Settings.
• To delete the app entirely, remove it from your device. iOS will remove all of the app's local storage.
• Any backup files you have saved to Files, iCloud Drive, or other locations must be deleted separately by you.

9. Security

Because your data stays on your device, its security depends primarily on the security of your device (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, iOS security updates).

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through an app update. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
