Privacy Policy — Job Clock Tracker

Last updated: May 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Job Clock Tracker ("the app") handles information. The app is published by Hughes Dirt Work LLC ("we," "us"). We've kept this policy short and direct because, for most users, there's not much to disclose: the app stores your data on your device, and we do not run a server that collects or stores user data.

The short version: Your data stays on your device. If you choose to connect your Google account, the app sends data directly to Google's services on your behalf. We never see or store your data on our servers — because we don't operate any.

1. What the app does

Job Clock Tracker is a time-tracking app for individuals and small businesses. It lets you create clients and projects, run a timer to log billable hours, track delivery loads, and view a history of your work. Optional features let you back up your data to Google Drive and create events on your Google Calendar.

2. Information stored on your device

When you use the app, the following information is created and stored locally on your device:

This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to Hughes Dirt Work LLC or to any server we control.

3. Optional Google account connection

If you choose to sign in with your Google account, the app requests permission to access two Google services on your behalf:

Google Calendar

If you enable calendar sync, the app creates events on your Google Calendar to record your time entries. The app uses these events solely to represent your tracked time. You can disconnect at any time, and existing events remain in your calendar until you choose to remove them.

Google Drive (app-restricted)

If you use the Drive backup feature, the app stores a backup file of your time-tracking data in a folder on your Google Drive. The app uses the restricted drive.file scope, which means it can only see and modify files it has created itself — not your other Drive files.

All data sent through these features goes directly from your device to Google. We do not see, intercept, or store any of it. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Information we do not collect

To be explicit about what we don't do:

5. Local backup files

The app lets you create local backup files of your data and save them to your device, the Files app, iCloud Drive, AirDrop recipients, or anywhere else iOS allows. These files contain the same data that's stored locally in the app. Once you save a backup file outside the app, its security and storage are your responsibility.

6. Children's privacy

Job Clock Tracker is intended for use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please note that no data is transmitted to us — but you can clear all data by deleting the app from the device.

7. How to stop sharing data and delete your data

You are in control:

8. Security

Because your data stays on your device, its security depends primarily on the security of your device (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, iOS security updates). For data sent to Google, the connection uses Google's standard HTTPS encryption.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through an app update. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
